How to set up course categories in the platform

Course categories are an optional way to organise courses in Bero. They are useful when Bero is being used to deliver multiple modules or to target multiple groups. For example, when Bero is being used for training health workers, we have separate categories for ‘emergency department’ courses and ‘birthing’ courses.

To add a course category, go to the 'Learn' page and add a ‘child page’ of the ‘course category’ type. Then add a name for the category (e.g. Emergency Department), an image which will display as an icon on the Bero homepage, and a short description of what kind of courses will be included in the category.
