How to set up lessons in the platform
Each course on Bero has a set of lessons within it.
To add a new lesson to a course, go to the page for that course and select ‘add lesson’ which will be where the ‘add child page’ button usually is, then fill in the fields in the three main tabs you have for adding content to a lesson:

Lesson details tab
Add a title, an image for the title card (which will be cropped from the centre into a square for the lesson icon and a circle for the 'hero' image on the first card of a lesson), a short description of the lesson, and an (optional) longer description.

Lesson content tab
This tab is where you add cards that will make up the bulk of the lesson. For more information on what cards should be included in each lesson, please review this document on the technical guidelines for content on Bero.
There are several card types which you can add to the lesson:
Objective card (title and description)
Card with image (text & image)
Audio or video card (media file - audio or video)
Basic card (just text)
List (bullet-point list)
Quote (quote and author)
Quizzes
Quiz - Choose one (quiz card with one answer)
Quiz - Choose multiple (quiz card with multiple answers)
Quiz - Choose one image (quiz images with one answer)
Quiz - Choose multiple (quiz images with multiple answers)
Quiz - Drag and drop (A list of answers with not-in-order answers)

Feedback on quiz lesson questions
When creating a quiz in the lesson section, you can add an option to include a revision note for the incorrect answer. The objective is to help the learners to review and remember the key information quickly and easily, without providing them with the exact answer.

For the multiple choice question with multiple correct answers, the feedback is provided at quiz question level. The results are divided as follow: - One feedback for the all incorrect answers (0% score) - One feedback for the partially correct answers (50% score) - One feedback for the all correct answers (100% score)

While multiple choice question with one correct answer, the feedback is provided in the question level. For example: answer 1 - feedback A, answer 2 - feedback B, answer 3 - feedback C, etc.

Drag and Drop
Drag and drop questions contain a set of words or short phrases (text items) that the learner must drag into response targets to the correct order.
Drag and drop question type has a feedback at the question level as well. For this particular type of question, the feedback appears in the correct and incorrect answers.
The correct order is set when creating the answers. Please include a order instruction of how to specify the order you'd answers to be provided, i.e. 'Order items from highest to lowest', 'Order items from most important to least important', etc. The answers must be in the correct order, then it will be randomized in the app.

Feedback on exam questions
On the other hand, the feedback on exam questions takes a slightly different approach. It is only provided for incorrect answers, without assigning any grades since all answers in the exams are considered correct. The feedback is provided at the quiz question level.

Order cards
To re-order cards, select the ^ or v to move the card upwards or downwards.
To duplicate the cards, choose the file icon 📄 in the middle.
To delete cards, click the trash can.
These icons are located in the top right corner as below:

Discussion questions tab
This is the tab where you add questions you want the learners to discuss with other learners following the lesson.

Note: Discussion questions relate to certain lessons, but are not located within the lessons themselves. They appear within a discussion tab on the app that is next to the lessons tab on a course page. Users have the option of going straight to this tab once the lesson is complete.
