0. Contracting

Prior to the product design process, there are a number of activities that must have occurred. These activities will inform why we are setting out on the product design process - and explain how we found a need or identified an opportunity to develop this product.

Perhaps product development is funded and driven by a project (ie. we were hired to develop product X to achieve project outcomes Y and Z), or perhaps we identified a pain for which we believe we can deliver a solution (and we decided on investing on that opportunity).

The story behind each opportunity and product is different. Talk to business development and the relevant sector team (e.g. health, education, governance) to learn more about how we got here.
