Describing Catalpa

Use the below descriptions to explain who we are.

The short version

For when you need to keep it as brief as possible, e.g. a byline in a publication, a single line in a partner’s report, or a presentation slide.

Catalpa International is a global development organisation creating change through design, technology and behavioural insights.

The medium version

For when you have a little more space to explain who we are, e.g. a partner’s project website. Remove the last sentence if you need something in between short and medium.

Catalpa International is a global development organisation creating change through human-centred design. We integrate technology and behavioural insights with locally-driven solutions to create lasting change. Our programs are designed to connect people, make information accessible, and empower people to make informed decisions."

The long version

For when you have at least half a page. This can be adapted for brochures, websites etc.

Catalpa International is a global development organisation creating change through human-centred design. We integrate technology and behavioural insights with locally-driven solutions to create lasting change. Our programs span education, health, social inclusion, environment, aid transparency, labour mobility and more. They’re designed to connect people, make information accessible, and empower people to make informed decisions—whether that's when to visit a medical clinic or where to direct aid funding. Catalpa’s team is interdisciplinary, with designers, engineers, researchers and sector specialists working across the entire life cycle of global development projects. We currently partner with governments, NGOs, the private sector and donor organisations."
