# Exams

Content providers can setup a course so that it includes either a pre-learning survey **or** an exam once all lessons have been completed.

* **Pre-learning surveys** aren't graded. These are usually added to the start of courses so that the user's performance can be evaluated by the end of the course.
* **Exams** are graded and have a customizeable minimum score. Users will need to at least match that score. The course will only be complete when the user passes the exam.
